I recently got introduced to Ebay by my husband as he was hunting for Plustek Opticfilm 7300.

Basically ebay is an online auction sight that brings buyers and sellers together.

Ebay would advocate that you should bid the highest amount that you are willing to pay, although I have sometimes felt that if a bidder is beaten in the last minute (or the last 10 seconds!!) the previous high bidder should be allowed to up the bid if they wish - afterall the internet can be a slow beast at times.

From my experience so far most people are reputable and have a fast and effiecient service.
